It is the Season for the Sacred. But how sacred are you treating it? Are you running around trying to get last minute presents, stressing yourself out? Or are you taking the time to be with family and friends? Or are simply just being?
Either way HAPPY HOLIDAYS from Sacred So Cal. Though I don't like to do anything conventionally traditional, I thought I'd wright you a little holiday note. If you may have never quite resonated with the normal holiday traditions we encourage you to make your own traditions.
For example instead of saying "Merry Christmas" try saying Happy Christ Consciousness day. For Jesus is the reason for the season. So lets try reminding others of that through our unconventional verbiage.
I don't always like having a tree in my living room unless it's at my parents house so here I am in my community living space with a happy meditating buddha surrounded my poinsettias.
Today in town was a bit crazy. No where to park and long lines. I got out of there as quick as I could and back to my house to chill out. Maybe meditation could be your new holiday tradition. Well I say go for it. Meditation is a great gift that you can give to yourself and others. As the more you relax and meditate the more peaceful you become and the more peaceful you come across to others. This makes the world better.
